It’s been a little over a month since I lost my best friend- a Doberman named Ally. And this is the 4th post I have written in my attempts to come to grips with the loss of this remarkable creature with whom I was graced for a little over 7 years. Over 3000 words before […]

That the 1st three chapters in Genesis have other than historical relevance to me, my culture and my world had never occurred to me until reading a 1976  meditation by Pope John Paul II about the history of atheism, of agnosticism, of the many ideologies which seek to deny God. “…Your eyes will be opened […]

My friend Rachel’s dog Houdini died Remember the song from Annie, I Don’t Need Anything But You“: ‘Yesterday was plain awful and Daddy Warbucks sings back: ‘You can say that again’ and she does? It’s been 3 weeks tonight since I saw my Dobie boy drop dead and I really thought I had accepted that he was gone…could focus […]

About Lin Wilder

I, Claudia was a winner in the IAN Best Books of 2019;
A finalist in the literary/general fiction category. Claudia has now won four awards. But Malthus Revisited keeps winning them. At eight awards, Malthus is the leader, by far.

Finally, I am closing in on My Name is Saul. The first iteration of the book will be done shortly.

Saul is complex, multifaceted and riddled with contradictions. Much of his story has been surprising-even shocking- as I have written it. And that term “written” assumes control. It is, after all, an active verb. But the truth is that the writer serves as a conduit. Cypher.

Weird, I know but accurate.

As always, thanks for checking out About Lin Wilder!
